[ Story ]
Against the backdrop of the beautiful nature in Gujo Hachiman, Gifu Prefecture, this moving drama portrays the landscapes of Japan, which are gradually being lost to the people of our modern age, and the warmth of the region's people. We also see the Gujo Odori, which is counted as one of Japan's big three 'Bon' dance festivals. Hirofumi (Chisaka Kensuke) has left his mother's side and been entrusted to the temple in Gujo Hachiman. He is in love with Mizuho (Tachibana Miyu), a devoted teacher, but during the summer holidays a tragic incident occurs. Thirty years later, Hirofumi (Ogata Naoto) visits Gujo for the first time in many years and once again comes to remember the tragedy of that summer holiday, an event which he had pushed back into the furthest recesses of his mind.
