Part four of a film version of an action animation series in which a boy uses his powers as a Soul Reaper to battle evil spirits and "hollows" (fallen spirits). To commemorate the 10th year in the running of the original comic series, the film focuses on battles in hell which until now had rarely been shown. Kubo Taito, the writer of the original comics directed the production of the film. Sinners start a rebellion in hell, where people who have committed heinous crimes while alive are sent, and where even a Soul Reaper cannot use his powers. Ichigo (voice: Morita Masakazu) and his companions travel to hell with a mysterious man, Kokuto (voice: Nakai Kazuya), who suddenly appears out of nowhere to help save the people on earth.
