[ Story ]
A humanistic documentary focusing on the members of Japanese drum group Zuiho Taiko - who overcame their mental disabilities to accomplish the impressive feat of taking second place at the Tokyo International Taiko Contest - and their families. Its director is Oguri Kenichi, whose Tokyo Joe - The Man Who Brought Down the Chicago Mob was received enthusiastically in Japan and abroad. In Unzen City in Nagasaki Prefecture, a locally-based professional drum collective named Zuiho Taiko, whose members are mentally disabled, performed around 130 concerts in a year. Then one day, they came under the guidance of internationally successful taiko performer Ichiro Jishoya.
