[ Story ]

Set around a school for hearing-impaired children in Niigata Prefecture that was once visited by Helen Keller, this coming-of-age drama depicts the growth of a girl and her friends who love to dance. It has been screened at many film festivals around the world and received several plaudits, including an Adult Jury Prize for live-action Feature Film or Video at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival. Yuki (Oba Haruka), a student at a school for children with hearing disabilities, lives with her mother (Watanabe Makiko). She becomes a member of a dance team and devotes herself wholeheartedly to practicing for a summer competition, but an incident leads to her being ostracized by her teammates.
