[ Story ]
Film adaptation of a stage performance by the enormously popular theatrical group Gekidan Shinkansen. SF historical musical action film featuring major stars like Furuta Arata and Amami Yuki, as well as superb guest performances. The highlight is the vivid colors capturing the performers' full range of expressions. The Iberian Peninsula, seventeenth century. Ishikawa Goemon (Furuta), an accomplished thief, kicks around the Mediterranean as bodyguard for the female pirate Anne the Tornado (Amami). One day, he learns that Anne is actually successor to the throne in a small kingdom.
