[ Story ]

A short animated work from author Midorikawa Yuki, writer of "Natsume's Book of Friends" (Natsume Yujincho) which is also a popular animated television series, and director Omori Takahiro. It uses photorealistic imagery to delicately depict a fleeting romance between a strange boy who disappears when touched, and a human girl. Musician Sizzle Ohtaka provides the end credits theme. While visiting her grandfather, Hotaru (voice: Sakura Ayane) becomes lost in the Yamagami Forest where yokai (mystical creatures) are said to live. When she bursts into tears, a boy named Gin (voice: Uchiyama Kouki) appears who is neither human nor yokai.
