[ Story ]
A documentary that painstakingly follows gruelling ranger training program operated by Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force. Its director is Taguchi Kiyotaka, who is known for the special effects-enhanced "Gehara", "Ultra Zone", and the "Onryoto" series, and has featured the Self-Defense Forces in many of his works to date. Twenty-seven trainees are brought together from garrisons all over Japan and placed under the guidance of no-nonsense instructor Captain Nagao. They make mistake after mistake during their practical field training, and Nagao admonishes them severely. As they push themselves beyond their limits both physically and psychologically, the trainees grow stronger.
