[ Story ]
Self-documentary depicting a father who is told that he has little time left to live. Director Sunada Mami is an emerging talent who trained under directors Kore-eda Hirokazu and Iwai Shunji, and makes her debut with this film. Produced by Kore-eda. 2009, Tokyo. Sunada Tomoaki retired at the age of sixtyseven from the company where he'd worked for over four decades, only to be diagnosed with cancer. His cancer is untreatable, and he decides to compose his final testament, Ending Note, as the culmination of his own life. His beloved daughter Sunada follows his final days.
