Film adaptation of the boxing manga with an original story by Takehara Shinji, former WBA Middleweight Champion. Lead actor Tokuyama Hidenori, who has boxing experience, delivers convincing fight scenes, and guest appearances by successive world champions are not to be missed. Riku makes money helping out motorcycle gangs, and decides to be a boxer after losing a fight for the first time to amateur boxer Tanabuki (Sato Yuki). He joins Tanabuki's gym, and they become friendly rivals as Riku aims to make his professional debut.
