An invigorating portrayal of a group of middle-aged women with various problems in their lives who form a rock band and strive to find happiness through music. A quartet of star actresses including Kuroki Hitomi (Shitsurakuen) underwent intensive training to bring realism to the impressive performance scenes.
An unexpected turn of events leads housewife Mieko (Kuroki), divorcee Kaori (Kimura Tae), and shoplifter Yukimi (Yamasaki Shizuyo) to put together a rock band. They are joined by self-professed ex-rocker Shinko (Maya Miki), and set their sights on making the lineup of a charity concert.
