Ishii Gakuryu, the director formerly known as Ishii Sogo whose works include Crazy Thunder Road, adapts the play of the same title by Maeda Shiro, director of the popular theater troupe Gotandadan. An absurd ensemble comedy-drama unfolds on a university campus, with Sometani Shota (Himizu) in the lead role.
On a university campus with an adjacent hospital, people go about their regular everyday lives: students, a young woman who has escaped from a hospital ward, an ear, nose, and throat doctor who pines for a colleague, and a female student with a career as an idol. However, the apocalypse suddenly begins to loom over them...
