Feature film version of the detective drama that incorporates the sci-fi element of special powers, or SPEC. Like the TV drama, hit-maker Tsutsumi Yukihiko constructs a distinctive take on the world cleverly accented with humor and stylish visuals. A cruiser with a mummified crew is discovered in Tokyo Bay.
The information is relayed to Toma (Toda Erika) and Sebumi (Kase Ryo) from the specialist bureau that handles unusual incidents, but the villain takes possession of another person, and right before their eyes makes a proclamation: SPEC holders control the world.
