[ Story ]
A feature film based on popular character shows performed by male idol group Kanjani Eight at their concerts, and directed by Tsutsumi Yukihiko (the 20th Century Boys series). It follows the struggles of seven heroes who take a stand against terrorists in a decaying near-future city.
Hounded by underground debt collectors, Yokomine (Yokoyama You) is saved by a scout for a hero association who introduces him to six other young men with problems of their own. Eventually, they join together to form the "Eightranger," and are asked to protect the city from a terrorist organization called Dark Crusade.
