[ Story ]
A documentary that illustrates the situations facing the villages of Iitate and Kawauchi in Fukushima Prefecture that were designated as highly contaminated by radiation as a result of the Fukushima No.1 nuclear plant accident following the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11th, 2011. A two-night, three-day shoot gathers testimonies from villagers who continue to run their farms. An explanatory meeting held by Tokyo Electric Power Company, evacuation orders issued by the village mayors, the destruction of livestock by dairy farmers, decontamination work carried out by individual citizens... The film focuses on villagers whose lives have been turned upside down since March 11th 2011, but who refuse to leave the land that is so dear to them.
