Sayaka Miki (voice: Kitamura Eri) has contracted herself to become a magical girl, and loses her life after embarking on a reckless battle against the enemies of humans. Madoka (voice: Yuki Aoi), who has lost her friend, decides to become a magical girl too. She commits herself to a bitter fate.
