[ Story ]
The second film from director Kimura Bunyo, whose debut feature Goodbye received considerable praise at home and abroad. Its story is inspired by former Aum Shinrikyo member Hirata Makoto, who was involved in criminal acts perpetrated by the cult and was finally arrested in 2012 after seventeen years on the run, and the woman who continued to support him.
Koji (Jitsunashi Satoru) leads a life spent avoiding the eyes of others, and Yoko (Maekawa Asako) supports him by going out into society using a false name. On a spring night one year after the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, the couple look back on their seventeen years together, and attempt to discover some kind of solution to their predicament.
