[ Story ]
A documentary that follows protest movements in Okinawa, from the maritime interception operation at Henoko in 2004 to the forced deployment of Osprey aircraft in October of 2012. Its directors are Fujimoto Yukihisa and Kageyama Asako, who focused on the training of U.S. marine recruits in ONE SHOT ONE KILL.
At Henoko, protestors continue a sit-in that has lasted for over 3,000 days to prevent the construction of a new U.S. base. At Takae, another sit-in aims to stop a helipad being built. Others block the gates at the Futenma Base in rejection of the deployment of Osprey aircraft. This documentary depicts the true strength of Okinawa and its struggle against U.S. military bases.
