Documentary about Japanese and Korean youths, as well as young Korean nationals residing in Japan, shot over a 15-year period. Consists of five parts, totaling 9 hours and 9 minutes. In the summer of 1997, Japanese and Korean youths, and young ethnic Koreans residing in Japan gathered in Shumarinai, Hokkaido to excavate the remains of forced laborers who perished during the wartime construction of dams and railways. Conducting excavations, locating relatives, and returning the remains…The youths meet more and more people, transcending national borders. What kind of future are they trying to create as they face the past?
