[ Story ]

Road movie about cultivating friendship across both nationality and circumstances, as a man and woman who meet in Okinawa go on a journey together. Directed by Claude Gagnon, whose film Kenny was an international hit in the 1980s. Honored in two categories, including an audience award, at the 36th Montreal World Film Festival.
Pierre (Gabriel Arcand), a retired university professor from Canada, visits Okinawa for a Qigong retreat. There he happens to meet Junko (Kudo Yuki), a local homemaker, and they hit it off immediately. However, the next day, Junko shows up after being punched by her husband.
