Third documentary about the activities of the national idol group AKB48. Directed once again by Takahashi Eiki, the film closely follows the group in 2012 and gets up-close and personal with the members.
In March 2013, ace Maeda Atsuko announces that she is departing from the group. In the 4th general election held in June, Oshima Yuko returns to the top as Maeda, who declined to participate, watches over the proceedings. Then, in August they accomplish the Tokyo Dome concert that was their goal since the group's inception, and Maeda leaves AKB for good.
