[ Story ]

An animated feature film which blends re-edited footage from the television series "Star Driver", a coming-of-age tale set a high school where students summon robotic organisms, with new story elements.
Southern Cross Isle is located in the seas south of Japan. A young man named Takuto Tsunasi (Miyano Mamoru) enrolls at the island's high school, and gets to know the highly unique students. However, they are gradually pulled into a battle with a secret society called the Glittering Crux Brigade over "Cybodies," giant robots that lie sealed beneath the school.
