[ Story ]
Based on a true story about the lives of musician Matsumoto Tetsuya, who comes from Iwate Prefecture, and his mother. Depicts a mother who has a rough life, and her son who grows up in a foster care facility, as they clumsily seek each other out. Pre-release screenings were held in Iwate in 2009, but the nationwide release was cancelled for financial reasons. Then, two years later the film won the top prize at the Okuradashi Film Festival, and in 2012 at long last achieved a nationwide theatrical release. Fumie (Suzuki Sawa), married to a yakuza gang member and awash with stimulant drugs, places her young son in a foster care facility. However, her son Tetsuya (Ishigaki Yuma) grows up feeling isolated and turns to delinquency.
