Drama that reunites director Yagi Junichi, whose previous film Neko no hige was described as "contemporary Ozu," with Oki Eiji for planning, screenplay, producing and performance. Depicts the discord and reconciliation between a bohemian father and serious son, set against Okinawa's natural beauty.
Newlywed legal apprentice Domoto Koji (Shioya Shun) has come to forget his hatred toward his father Sonoda Atsushi (Nakahara Takeo), who abandoned the family. One day, Koji finds out from his wife Noriko (Harada Kana) that she is pregnant, and feels unease about becoming a father.
