[ Story ]

Romantic drama about the devastation and recovery of a woman whose husband dies, set in Ibaraki Prefecture's Hitachi City, an area stricken by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Director Funahashi Atsushi sensitively depicts the heroine's emotional transformation through splendid cherry trees, and earns his fourth invitation in a row to the Berlin International Film Festival.
Shiori (Usuda Asami) loses her beloved husband Kenji (Takahashi Yo) to an accident at a metal stamping factory. Takumi (Miura Takahiro), who triggered the accident, continues working diligently while bearing the brunt of Shiori's animosity. Shiori finds herself moved by Takumi.
