[ Story ]
A new and powerful experimental documentary fiction from Funabashi Atsushi, who garnered critical acclaim for his previous work, Big River. Set in Yanaka, Tokyo, it tells the story of a man and woman trying to track down lost film footage, while also relaying the voices of the real people who actually live in this area. Kaori, (Sato Mayu) who helps to store and restore home movies in Yanaka, Tokyo, hears of the existence of an 8mm film of the Yanaka Gojunoto (Yanaka five story pagoda), which burnt to the ground in 1957. This results in her meeting with local street punk, Hisaki (Nomura Yuki) and as they search for the film they gradually become drawn to each other.
