[ Story ]
A romantic mystery set in 18th-century Portugal and 21stcentury Japan produced jointly by Japan, America, and Portugal. In the director's chair is Funahashi Atsushi who won international acclaim with Nuclear Nation.
In eighteenth-century Portugal, Soji (Emoto Tasuku) and Shiro (Nakano Yuta) are brought from Japan for a restoration project. Soji establishes an emotional bond with Mariana (Ana Moreira), a housemaid working in a mansion, but is shot to death by her employer. In 21st-century Japan, three people who bear a striking resemblance to Soji, Shiro and Mariana are each being toyed by fate.
