Sensual literary romance based on Sakaguchi Ango's original story. Inoue Junichi, acolyte of director Wakamatsu Koji and screenwriter Arai Haruhiko, sensually depicts the erotic relationship between a man and woman who are at the mercy of the times. Music supervised by Aoyama Shinji, director of EUREKA.
A drunkard author (Nagase Masatoshi) shacks up with a bar proprietress (Eguchi Noriko) who was sold into prostitution as a child, and they throw themselves into round-the-clock sex. Meanwhile, a man (Murakami Jun) who lost his arm on the battlefront in China turns up, and begins raping and killing women.
