[ Story ]
An offbeat coming-of-age drama with a dark touch that depicts the struggles of a young man who ventures into the underworld. Its director is Onuma Yuichi, who has developed a solid reputation for his sympathetic and detailed emotional character studies in films dealing with sex such as Dotei Horoki (chronicle of a virgin wanderer) and Nude.
High schooler and professional mahjong player Kei (Maeda Gouki) pretends to have a part-time job, but is actually making a fortune on the underground circuit. Although his playing style is coldly theoretical, his desire to help a young foreign girl named Amina (Akane) who he shares his home with causes him to become seduced by the lure of the underworld.
