[ Story ]
A documentary that touches upon the achievements of Lee Ye, a 15th century Joseon Dynasty envoy to Japan. It looks back on the history of relations between Japan and Korea while tracing remnants of the presence of Lee Ye, who visited Muromachi period Japan over forty times at the behest of King Sejong the Great.
South Korean actor Yun Tae-Young acts as navigator and travels from Busan to Kyoto, following the few footsteps of Lee Ye that still remain in Japan. Meanwhile, Japanese university students visit South Korea, and learn of the complicated relationship between the two countries. The film's director is Inui Hiroaki, for whom this is his fourth documentary.
