[ Story ]

A graduate work by film students at Tokyo University of the Arts. A young man stuck in a rut runs away is welcomed into a strange commune. Rather than becoming an escapist comedy, it builds a multilayered world.
After his employer goes bankrupt and sends him into the ranks of the unemployed, Nara (Miyamoto Gyo) impulsively leaves his pregnant fiancee and goes on a journey. He steals a car and ends up at a unfamiliar square, which is home to four eccentric men and women including Maruko (Shibukawa Kiyohiko), who makes a fortune from seminars targeting the elderly.
