[ Story ]
Shiota Akihiko, the director of Yomigaeri (Resurrection), inspired by the Aum cult, portrays the lives of the young victims of a fictional cult.
Koichi (Ishida Houshi), lives with his mother and sister in a cult, but after the cult is involved in a terrorist attack, he is turned over to the authorities and sent to a children's home in Kansai. His mother is missing and his sister is sent to live with his grandfather. Koichi wants to live with them, so he escapes from the children's home and sets off for his grandfather's house in Tokyo. On the way, he meets a girl named Yuki (Tanimura Mitsuki) and they travel to Tokyo together. However, his grandfather and sister have moved. They also meet some former devotees of the cult and find that his father is now living in a house in the mountains. On the way to his grandfather's place, Koichi learns from the news that his mother has committed suicide with the leaders of the cult. Yuki leaves Koichi and goes on ahead. She gets into an argument with Koichi's grandfather and almost attacks him with a screwdriver, but Koichi arrives and intervenes. Koichi and Yuki take his sister and continue their journey.
