[ Story ]
A feature film starring the members of NMB48, a female idol group based in Namba, Osaka, that borrows the premise of their eponymous television series but adds an original story. It is a coming-of-age drama about "manzai" stand-up comediennes attending a high school for prim and proper young ladies.
Namba Jogakuin is one of the Kansai region's foremost schools for the daughters of upstanding families. The five members of its comedy club don't quite fit in with their fellow students, but they devote themselves to practicing their manzai routines. One day they receive word about "JK-1", a national comedy competition for high school girls.
