Documentary following the trajectory of the idol group NMB48 from the Namba district of Osaka. Directed by Funahashi Atsushi from the Japan-US co-production Big River starring Odagiri Jo. Opened on the same day as Documentary of HKT48.
NMB48 has steadily built up a following since their launch. Four years filled with frustration and hardship lie concealed behind the smiles of these spectacular "Naniwa girls,"a nickname that comes from the historical name of their idol-averse hometown.
