A feature film based on a television mystery series broadcast in 2012. A man with savant syndrome who has extraordinary powers of memory and deduction attempts to solve a difficult case that spans Japan and the United States. Grossed 350 million yen at the box office in its first two days of release.
An explosion occurs in metropolitan Tokyo, set off by a computer virus. Investigators narrow down the suspects to Madoka (Horikita Maki), the mysterious woman who created the virus. Meanwhile, a similar incident occurs at the FBI branch where Ataru (Nakai Masahiro) and his colleagues work, and he returns to Japan to take part in a joint investigation.
