[ Story ]

A film adaptation of "Future Gospel", a combination of side stories and an epilogue to the seven-part "Kara no Kyokai" series, that also functions as a sequel. Series character designer and animation director Sudo Tomonori directs for the first time.
In summer of 1998, Ryogi Shiki (voice: Sakamoto Maaya) is caught up in an explosion set off by a bomber who can see the future. At the same time in a different place, a clairvoyant female student named Seo Shizune (voice: Iguchi Yuka) appears. Eventually, the fates of these future seers become entwined.
