Film adaptation of Ibuki Yuki‘s popular novel by One Million Yen Girl director Tanada Yuki, starring Nagasaku Hiromi from Rebirth. A mother leaves behind a "recipe for life," which revitalizes a family dealing with emotional wounds. Official selection for the 37th Montreal World Film Festival.
Otomi, the mother of the Atsuta family dies. Father Ryohei (Ishibashi Renji) and daughter Yuriko (Nagasaku) struggle to fulfill Otomi's wishes after they learn she asked for a banquet on the 49th day after her death, and that she left a recipe for that purpose.
