[ Story ]
Theatrical film adaptation of a horror drama series aired on TV in the Kansai area. The newscaster for a show that goes on air five minutes past midnight discovers the frightening truth lurking behind a news item, and becomes engulfed in a harrowing story. Former AKB48 idol group member Masuda Yuka stars in place of Takanashi Ai, who played the lead in the TV series.
Newscaster Kitagawa Reika (Masuda) is doing an ordinary broadcast about an accidental death when suddenly the TV screen distorts and she is overwhelmed by head pain. Reika loses her memory and is placed in confinement at a hospital, and hovers in the chasm between nightmares and reality.
