A bittersweet drama that shines light on the darkness in Japanese society. It depicts a romance between a man and woman who are bound by family ties and struggle on the outskirts of a major city. Its director is Nishihara Takashi, for whom this represents his feature debut.
Sanji (Morioka Ryu) lives with his mentally ill mother, and leads an aimless existence while working as a drug courier. One day he meets Yoko (Kurokawa Mei), a woman dealing with her shut-in younger sister, and mistakenly hands her a bag filled with drugs after presuming she is a customer. This brings Sanji and Yoko closer together, but eventually their lives start to fall off the rails..
