Romance live-action adaptation directed by Hyuga Asako, who made her feature film debut with The Days of Morisaki Bookstore, based on Hazuki Kanae's same-titled comic for girls. Delicately interweaves the emotions of the heroine jolted by her first love.
Mei (Kawaguchi Haruna) is a homely high school girl without friends or a boyfriend. A trifling incident leads a friendship with Yamato (Fukushi Sota), the most popular guy at school, and then they end up kissing. Mei is confused but keeps on opening up to him, and experiences many "firsts" with Yamato.
