[ Story ]
After a break of about 10 years following the highly acclaimed The Ravine of Goodbyes, director Omori Tatsushi returns to the mystery genre with another adaptation of author Shuichi Yoshida's work.
A 100-year-old bedridden elderly man is murdered at a lakeside nursing home. Hamanaka Keisuke (Fukushi Sota), a young detective at the Saiko Police Station, and Isami (Asano Tadanobu), a veteran detective, relentlessly interrogate suspects at the facility. Meanwhile, Keisuke begins to develop a twisted desire to control Toyota Kayo (Matsumoto Marika), a caregiver he met during the interrogations.
