Drama that adapts manga artist Igarashi Daisuke's original story for film. Four sections released in two parts depict the changing seasons in a verdant hamlet in Tohoku. Portrays the daily life of a heroine who lives of f the land, while interweaving the harsh reality of the "slow life."
Ichiko (Hashimoto Ai) can't adjust to life in the city, and returns to her hometown in Tohoku. She embarks on a selfsuf ficient lifestyle by eating food that she cooks using ingredients that she grows on her own and gathers from the mountains. She gradually regains her vitality through the blessings of nature.
