[ Story ]
The fourth film in the popular series directed by Kamei Toru and starring Sato Jiro. Middle-aged do-nothing Shiba Jiro and his sidekick, a miniature Shiba dog called Ichiro, get to the bottom of a mysterious disappearance on a remote island. Its idiosyncratic supporting cast includes Shishido Kai and Taketomi Seika.
Jiro (Sato) makes a break from his workplace and takes his beloved miniature Shiba dog Ichiro to visit the island of Kujiratsuyushima, home to his childhood friend Be-chan (Takahashi Hiroshi) and Ichiro's younger brother Saburo. However, an unsettling atmosphere hangs over the place, and Be-chan and Saburo have gone missing.
