VIBRATOR director Hiroki Ryuichi helms this adaptation of the manga of the same title by Nishi Keiko, who has a devoted fanbase among adult women. A woman who has given up on ever being married meets a university professor old enough to be her father, and comes to terms with her true self.
Dozono Tsugumi (Eikura Nana), who has decided never to fall in love again, meets an eccentric university professor named Kaieda (Toyokawa Etsushi). He tells Tsugumi that her late grandmother gave him a key to the annex at her house, and begins living there.
