[ Story ]

A live-action adaptation by director Matsuo Suzuki of Igarashi Mikio's manga. This farcical tale revolves around a young man with a morbid fear of money and the residents of a sparsely populated village. The cast features such unique actors as Matsuda Ryuhei, Abe Sadawo, Matsu Takako, and the director himself.
Former bank employee Takeharu (Mat suda) moves to Kamuroba Village with the aim of achieving a lifestyle that does not require money. He has a condition that causes him to faint when touching cash, but manages to find ways to get by with the help of Mayor Yosaburo (Abe). Before long, a suspicious character (Matsuo) also appears in the village.
