An ensemble comedy by Detective in the Bar director Hashimoto Hajime adapting Asada Jiro's similarly titled novel. The production undertook a 22 day shoot in Paris as well as the Palace of Versailles, the first ever Japanese film to do so. Mizutani Yutaka of the "Partners/Aibou" series plays an eccentric, but brilliant novelist.
Brilliant novelist Kitashirakawa Ukyo (Mizutani Yutaka) takes part in a luxurious tour too good to be true along with 10 questionable men and women. Becoming inspired by the "writer's muse" wherever he goes, from the Louvre to the Palace of Versailles, Ukyo steadily incorporates his tour companions into his tale.
