Drama that adapts Yoshimoto Banana's novel, which was inspired by a song from musician Hara Masumi. Directed by Toyoshima Keisuke of A Courtesan with Flowered Skin with the lead played by Kikuchi Akiko, who has a strong fan base among women her own age.
Mari (Kikuchi) is exhausted by life in the city and opens a shop selling snow cones in the small town of Nishiizu, where she grew up. The simple flavors of her cold desserts soothe the emotional wounds of her customers, and Mari comes to terms with herself through spending time with Hajime (Mine Azusa), a young woman with a scarred face.
