The second feature film following the adventures of a stern-faced samurai and a white cat in the Edo period. It tells the amusing story of their incident-filled escapades on a island to the south of Japan. Its director is Watanabe Takeshi, who also worked on the TV series. Star Kitamura Kazuki provided the story concept and wrote the screenplay.
Kyutaro (Kitamura) receives an offer of work as a sword instructor for the Tosa domain in Shikoku, and journeys there with his beloved cat Tamanojo. After having their baggage stolen by a mysterious ninja, and getting caught in a ferocious storm, they eventually discover a land mass that appears to be their destination. However...
