A teen film about a dance championship by high school students which depicts five plain high school girls becoming enthralled by dance and their attempt to break out of their own shells. In the director's chair is Kawamura Taisuke, who has worked on many teen films including live-action adaptations of girl's comics.
Timid high school girl Azusa (Ishii Anna) goes along with those around her for fear of being bullied. She, along with four other classmates who similarly don't fit in are labelled "Plain Janes". By a strange twist of circumstance, the unassuming Azusa is stuck with forming a dance group...
