A live-action adaptation of Arikawa Hiro's romance novel which depicts the love story of a man and woman drawn together through a blog inspired by an "unforgettable book".
By way of a blog called "The Land of Rain Trees", Shin (Tamamori Yuta) has exchanged emails with Hitomi (Nishiuchi Mariya), the blog's administrator, and become close confidants. Having withdrawn into her own shell because of her secret hearing impairment, Hitomi has stubbornly rejected Shin's requests to meet in person. The couple is already hurt by love because they are attracted to each other strongly. Can they discover that the land of rain trees which is "the land of love"?
