[ Story ]
Documentary delving into the problems confronting Tibet using as its motif the concept of the Lung Ta, wind horses said to run up to the heavens bringing wishes from humans to the gods. Director Ikeya Kaoru has received numerous awards at international film festivals.
Shocked by the series of self-immolations in Tibet, Ikeya teamed up with Nakahara Kazuhiro, the so-called "Dalai Lama architect" who has supported Tibet for three decades, to document the former political prisoners who fled to India. Later, the two risk danger and head for Tibet. The film portrays the mentality of Tibetans imbued with non-violent combat.
